Privacy without the creepiness.

SMRTLNK stores the minimum information needed to run artist accounts and pages. We do not sell personal information and do not build advertising profiles from visitors.

What we store

Artist applications include the artist or band name, account email, public music link, consent time and review status. Approved accounts also store a securely hashed password, login sessions, profile content, uploaded images and publishing history. Beta feedback stores the category, reply email, optional profile link, message and handling status.

Public page visitors

Public artist profiles do not use advertising trackers. Basic security and aggregate operational logs may include an IP address, device information, requested page and time. These are used to keep the service working and safe—not to follow visitors around the internet.

Who processes data

Cloudflare hosts the application, database, media and security controls. Resend delivers transactional account email when configured. Streaming and social links are opened only when a visitor chooses them, and those external services then apply their own policies.

Cookies

Backstage uses a necessary, secure session cookie so artists can stay signed in. Public profiles do not need an account cookie.

Retention and deletion

Unapproved application details may be removed from Owner Admin. Feedback stays in a private owner-only review list until it is handled or no longer useful. Artists can request export, correction or deletion of their account, profile and feedback. Security and backup copies may take a short period to expire.
